Please join us on Tuesday, January 20th for an interesting presentation on equine nutrition and feed with attention given to horses living in New England. The presentation will start at 7:30 PM at Sal e Pepe Restaurant located at 97 South Main St, Newtown. Admission is free for current NBLA members.
Our speaker is Sarah McEachern with Poulin Grain, a family-owned feed mill based in northeast Vermont and founded in 1932. Over the past thirty years, Poulin Grain has become known as a high quality option for bagged feeds for horses and many other farm animals. As a regional feed company, they match their feeds to the soils and forages found here in New England. The company offers free forage testing and diet balancing. Sarah's talk on nutrition for our New England horses will cover hay quality and testing, diet formulation, metabolic issues and feeding…
